Distribution: Occurring east of the Cascades crest in southeastern Washington; southeastern British Columbia to northeastern Oregon, east to Idaho and western Montana.

Habitat: Moist to dry canyons and wooded hillsides.

Flowers: April-May

Conservation Status: Threatened in Washington (WANHP)

Pollination: Bumblebees, bees, hummingbirds
